Back-burner Photography
Blog #104
My Door is Open
Photography, as commercial enterprise, has gone onto the back-burner.
Various reasons.
I continue to get many photographs which please me!
Still:
- Art-photography – pretty well everything you see is for sale, and it all makes beautiful prints. (A great gift!)
- Portraiture: you and I will produce something special, for you, or for someone you love.
- Commissions – ask me anything: private commissions welcome.
Sunset at Port Dalhousie
My brother and I had planned a dinner out together, and he said, "How do you feel about heading out early and catching the sunset at Port Dalhousie?"
I humoured him!
The photographs above and below resulted.
Port Dalhousie fishing boat Toronto dusk
And my sleep-rhythm has changed, and I don't get up for my
dawn light (the Low Light
) as often as I once did. And then I will find a leaden overcast, or no ships nearby. I only made the one below to show a friend that nothing photographable had presented itself, only to find that ... the camera sees differently than the eye!
I know that! I teach that, for goodness sake!

The mission continues.
Subscribe
I would love it if you were to subscribe to this blog, and to refer friends; art collectors may find this interesting.
You may wish to look through my larger portfolio. Almost everything is for sale. I favour large wall art, and also deal in books and other small items: prints, notecards, and postcards.
Check out my current Portraiture project. My next model is you. (Yes. I mean you).
